Girly Bird Card

We have a new step by step project to share with you by Pandy

You will need the following for this project:
 
Personal Impressions stamp – Zendoodle dove Ready To Go (CICSA6315)
Stampers Anonymous stamps – Mixed Media (CMS125)
Tim Holtz stencil – Blossom (THS031)
Memento Ink Pads in – Lilac Posies – Rose Bud – Bamboo Leaves – Danube Blue
 Personal Impressions Smooth White Card stock
Sponge dabber
Silicone glue

     
    Step 1

Fold a sheet of cardstock in half.  Use the Blossom stencil with the Bamboo Leaves and the Lilac Posies and Rose Bud to create a floral background on the lover half of the card.  Gently shade the edges round the foliage with Bamboo Leaves – then shade the top half of the card with Danube Blue.


Step 2
 
Use the Mixed Media stamps with the Danube Blue and the Bamboo Leaves to create some extra texture to the sky and bush.
 
 
Step 3
 
Use the Lilac Posies to stamp the dove and cut out.  Then stamp a second image in Rose Bud.  Cut out the wing, tail and collar from the Rose Bud image.
 
 
Step 4


Ink around all the cut edges of the bird to hide the white card at the side and strengthen the outline.  Gently add some shape to the bird’s forms and use silicone glue so that the shape stays firm.

 
Step 5
 

Add the bird to the background – and add a bit of bling. 
I have inked some Viva paper flowers in the same colours and added glitter.

Love Birds

Good Morning Crafters   With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.   Have you made your Valentine's card yet?   Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.     Products used for this project are:   Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers Aspire Crafts Stamping Card C6 white card blank Red and black cardstock Fired Brick distress ink Worn Lipstick distress ink Versamark stamping pad White embossing powder Memento black ink Scrap of red ribbon Red crystal stickers   Step 1 For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.  Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.    Step 2 Cut out a heart shape from w
